I got the first quilt onto the machine quilting frame last night and started quilting it. I chose a simple pattern from the ones that came with the machine to use as an overall design. It's going pretty good and I'm more than half done after working on it for not that long.
Something that I'm not comfortable with is floating the top on the backing and batting and then basting it down. The sides don't stay where they should very well when basting along the edges. I'm going to have to find a better way to do it. I really enjoy using the machine and have no regrets with my purchase. A little impatient to get good at it and to try those fabulous designs I see on quilts.
