Still working on the Never Ending quilt

Just a little update on the latest quilt.  Still only 4 rows done but they're sewn together with sashing and I'm ready to sew the next 12 blocks together.  Only 12 more sets of HSTs to go!!

I got the 25 large hearts for the spaces between the blocks cut out tonight, all out of different fabrics.  I tried the template material and turned under the seam on one of the hearts.  It's not a totally simple thing to do but it worked pretty good.

  1. I'm never bored watching the progress of your quilts. Is this your own design? Can't wait to see the hearts go on.

  2. The design is from the May issue of American Quilter though they did it in bright batiks. I added the hearts and the border and did it in Civil War repros.

I can hardly wait to see the hearts of too!! I have one of the hearts attached with Elmer's School Glue and ready to sew on. I learned that on the Sharon Schamber Network.
